These terms are the agreement between you and Brainzie Ltd for using Brainzie Meetflow. We have kept them short and plain. By using the app, you agree to them.
Brainzie Meetflow is operated by Brainzie Ltd ("we", "us"), registered in England & Wales, company number 16262756. You can reach us at hello@brainzie.co.uk.
Brainzie Meetflow is software for preparing a swimming meet: planning its sessions, events and warm-ups; publishing an entry pack; letting visiting clubs submit and manage their own entries; deciding those entries; and keeping a heat sheet and running order up to date as they arrive.
It is deliberately not a race-day system. It does not run the competition, capture times, seed lanes on the day or publish results, and it is not a substitute for your meet software or your licensing body's requirements. It is not a regulated service and nothing in it is professional advice.
Entry fees, coach passes and admission are matters between the host club and the entering clubs. The app publishes the prices you set, works out what each club owes from them, and records what you tell it has been paid — it does not take, hold or move any money, and we are not a party to those arrangements.
Brainzie Meetflow is in early access and is currently free to use. Taking part as a visiting club through an invitation link will always be free. If we introduce paid plans for hosts, we will publish the prices here and in the app before they apply to you; any subscription will renew only until you cancel it, and consumers keep their statutory cancellation and refund rights.
We work hard to keep Brainzie Meetflow running, but it is early-access software provided "as is", and we cannot guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties. Keep your own copy of anything you could not rebuild — the entry files clubs send you, in particular.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — including a meet overrunning its hire window, a venue penalty, a swimmer missing a race, or entries lost or wrongly decided — and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or £100 where that is more. None of this affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
The Brainzie Meetflow software, brand and content are owned by Brainzie Ltd. Your meet's data, and your club's entries, remain yours.
By organising a meet with Brainzie Meetflow, you agree that we may name your club and the meets it organises with Brainzie Meetflow to advertise Brainzie Meetflow — for example “Anytown Swimming Club organised its Summer Open Meet using Brainzie Meetflow”.
You can stop using Brainzie Meetflow at any time, and we will delete your data on request (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached or the service is misused.
We may update these terms; material changes will be dated above and, where appropriate, notified in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and disputes fall to the courts of England & Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections of your home country.
